Import RTF

It's been about 5 years since I touched this package.  I'm importing an .rtf, leaving the Remove Headings check enabled, and I still get double

heading numbers anyway.  What have I forgotten?

ex.   1  1 Introduction

        1.1 1.1 First heading

         1.2 1.2 Second heading

Please refresh my memory.  Thanks!,
